FOTON Tunland is available in both left-hand drive (LHD) and right-hand drive (RHD). Steering side is a factory decision taken at order, so it has to be right on the purchase order.
Which side for which market
Broadly: most of Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and Europe drive on the right and take LHD. East Africa, southern Africa, South Asia and Australia drive on the left and take RHD. Confirm your own registration requirement rather than relying on the region — a few markets are the exception.
What changes with steering side
- Dashboard and controls are mirrored, including the instrument cluster and centre screen layout.
- Steering gear and pedal box differ — this is not a conversion, it is a different build.
- Availability by model. Not every body style and transmission combination exists on both sides. RHD coverage is narrower than LHD on some lines.
- Lead time. Your side may sit in a different production slot.
Why we ask about steering early
Because it narrows the configuration list immediately. If you tell us “RHD, double cab, automatic” we can tell you within a day which models are available and when they build — rather than quoting a configuration that does not exist.
A note on the single cab
Single cab is a body style, not a separate model range. Tunland is built as a double cab (V7, V9, G7) or a single cab (Tunland S) on the same platform. If your market wants a long-bed work truck, that is a cab choice within the range, not a different vehicle family.
