The same Tunland pickup is built to several emission standards depending on where it will be registered. Order the wrong one and the vehicle cannot be plated. Order the right one and you pay only for what your market requires.
The standards available
FOTON builds the Tunland range to Euro 2 through Euro 6, and to Euro 6e on current P4-platform product. Which one you get is decided at order, not afterwards.
How to choose
- Match your registration requirement, not your neighbour’s. The binding constraint is what your vehicle registration authority accepts for a new imported pickup.
- Do not over-specify. A higher standard can add cost and, in some markets, requires fuel quality your network cannot supply.
- Check fuel sulphur content. A Euro 6 after-treatment system expects low-sulphur diesel. If your market’s fuel is high-sulphur, a lower standard may be the practical choice even if a higher one is permitted.
What the current diesel powertrain is
| Item | Specification |
|---|---|
| Engine | 4F20, 2.0 L diesel, 1968 cc |
| Power | 120 kW |
| Torque | 415 N·m (4F20) / 450 N·m (4F20 + 48V) |
| Transmission | 6MT or ZF 8AT |
| Injection | Bosch 3rd-generation high-pressure common rail |
| Turbo | BorgWarner VGT variable-geometry |
Two powertrains, two torque figures
Worth being precise about, because the numbers get misquoted:
- 4F20 diesel — 415 N·m. This is the engine’s own output.
- 4F20 + 48V mild hybrid — 450 N·m. The 48V system adds roughly 50 N·m under acceleration; 48V mild hybrid is standard across the diesel range, not a separate model.
How to confirm before it is built
Tell us the destination country and the registration requirement in writing. We confirm the emission standard in the quotation, and it is built to that. Changing it after the order is in production is not possible.
