Pre-shipment cargo tracking by country

A number of African destinations require a pre-shipment inspection or an electronic cargo tracking note, issued before the vessel sails. If it is missed, the cargo cannot be cleared. We handle these as part of the shipment:

West & Central Africa BESC (Bordereau Électronique de Suivi des Cargaisons), CTN, ECTN
Francophone Africa BIETC, FERI
East & Southern Africa Destination-specific inspection certificates — confirmed per country

Tell us your destination port at the quotation stage and we build the tracking requirements into the timeline, so nothing is missed between the order and the vessel.

How ordering works

  1. Send your requirement — model, quantity, destination port and required emission standard.
  2. Get your proforma invoice — FOB or CIF price, production lead time and payment terms confirmed.
  3. Pay the 30% deposit — by bank transfer or irrevocable L/C at sight. Production starts on receipt.
  4. Inspection & VIN list — you receive photos, video and the full VIN list before loading.
  5. Shipment & balance — container sealed and shipped; 70% balance against B/L copy, original documents couriered.

What are the payment terms?

30% deposit on order, 70% balance against copy of the Bill of Lading. We also accept an irrevocable letter of credit at sight.

Commercial invoice, packing list, original Bill of Lading, certificate of origin, COC/COP conformity certificate where required, full VIN list, manufacturer warranty booklet, and loading photographs and video.

Do you handle pre-shipment cargo tracking for African destinations?

Yes. We arrange BESC, CTN, ECTN, BIETC and FERI as required, and issue them before the vessel sails. Tell us your destination port at quotation stage and we build these into the timeline.
