FOTON Tunland pickup trucks for Nigeria — factory-direct, delivered to Lagos

Can you export new FOTON Tunland pickups to Nigeria?

Yes. Nigeria is a left-hand-drive market and left-hand drive is our standard build, produced that way at the factory rather than converted afterwards. The same engine is homologated to the emission standard the destination market accepts, from Euro 2 through to Euro VI, so the configuration follows what the Nigerian authority requires. The export range covers 57 orderable configurations: Tunland G7, Tunland V, Tunland G9, the eTUNLAND electric pickup, the V7 and V9 diesel hybrids, and single-cab long-bed work trucks.

Nigeria sits in the West and Central Africa group that requires an electronic cargo tracking note issued before the vessel sails — BESC, CTN or ECTN — without which cargo cannot be cleared; we handle it as part of the shipment. Everything leaves Qingdao or Shanghai in a 40′HQ carrying three units of the Tunland G7, S and E series or two units of other models, with 20–30 days production and 25–45 days ocean transit to Lagos (Apapa / Tin Can Island). Four details are enough for a firm FOB or CIF quote in 24 hours: destination port, model and quantity, the emission standard Nigeria accepts, and steering side.

Nigeria is one of the largest pickup markets in West Africa, and it is a left-hand-drive market with a mandatory pre-shipment cargo tracking note. We ship new FOTON Tunland pickups straight from the factory, handle the tracking note as part of the shipment, and return a firm FOB or CIF quotation within 24 hours.

Why the Tunland range fits Nigeria

Left-hand drive is the Nigerian norm and our standard build — not a conversion done afterwards, so the steering geometry, pedal box, dashboard and wiring are produced that way from the start. The same engine is homologated to the emission standard the destination market accepts, from Euro 2 through to Euro VI, so the configuration is defined by what the Nigerian authority requires rather than by whatever happens to be in stock.

The export range covers 57 orderable configurations: the Tunland G7 as the volume workhorse, the Tunland V and G9 as premium double cabs, the eTUNLAND electric pickup, the V7 and V9 diesel hybrids, and single-cab long-bed work trucks.

Pre-shipment cargo tracking — the step that stops cargo if it is missed

Nigeria sits in the West and Central Africa group that requires an electronic cargo tracking note issued before the vessel sails — BESC (Bordereau Électronique de Suivi des Cargaisons), CTN or ECTN depending on the country. Cargo cannot be cleared without it. We build it into the shipment timeline rather than leaving it to your customs broker, and we confirm the exact requirement for your destination port at the quotation stage.

Container, production and transit

Everything leaves from Qingdao or Shanghai in a 40′ High Cube container. One 40′HQ carries three units of the Tunland G7, Tunland S and Tunland E series, or two units of all other models. A single unit can also ship in a full container if that is what you need.

Production lead time is 20–30 days after the deposit, and ocean transit is 25–45 days depending on the destination port. For Nigeria the usual gateway is Lagos (Apapa / Tin Can Island); confirm your port when you ask for a quotation and we calculate the exact freight.

Documents that travel with every shipment

Commercial invoice, packing list, original Bill of Lading (couriered), Certificate of Origin, COC / COP conformity certificate where the destination requires it, the full VIN list matched to loading photographs, the manufacturer warranty booklet, and loading photographs and video sent before the container is sealed. If a document has to be legalised or attested for Nigeria, we arrange it before shipment.

Payment and quotation

30% deposit on order and 70% against a copy of the Bill of Lading, or an irrevocable letter of credit at sight. Prices are quoted in USD, EUR or CNY on FOB Qingdao/Shanghai or CIF your port.

Four details are enough for a firm FOB or CIF price within 24 hours: destination port, model and quantity, the emission standard Nigeria accepts, and steering side.
